ONLINE FRAUD ALERT
Dear Valued Customer,
We have noticed that scam artists are on the rise to defraud unsuspecting electronic Banking (Internet Banking, U-Mobile, Cards) users.
Customers are being asked to provide sensitive information such as account details, debit card PIN on ATM, POS, Internet Banking password, & Mobile Banking details. Customers are also told that they have won a price and their account details should be entered at ATM or other channels to get the price. These requests may come in various forms.
On no account should you respond to such unsolicited instruction by e-mail, clicking on a web link, visit any site or provide your user name/password to a 3rd party in order to restore/change your confidential account details.
UBA PLC, has not and will not request by e-mail/call for a customer to provide details on his/her ATM card PIN or Internet banking details for account upgrade or any other reason. UBA’s web site address is www.ubagroup.com.
You are advised to secure your electronic banking details with utmost confidentiality as the Bank shall not be held liable to any customer for any loss arising from third party access to your banking details to defraud you.
Customers that are already victims or have responded to such fraudulent calls / e-mail should immediately notify their account Relationship Manager at their branch or call our Customer Interaction Center on these numbers:
